Tanush Deka, as the Youth Ambassador of YASASHI FOUNDATION in intimately involved in realizing the long-term goals of the foundation, of building an empowered and inclusive next generation. Every weekend Tanush spends time educating and spreading awareness amongst the kids of the foundation on topics of global importance. He picks up relevant topics starting from COVID-19 (during the heights of the pandemic in 2020-2021) to global warming and the importance of a sustainable world. In a series of sessions, he is making the students aware of how the world is investing to control global warming and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. He is also encouraging the students in their own way to contribute to making the world sustainable by embracing practices like recycling of waste and use of low emission energy in their daily lives. His approach of teaching is by providing real life examples and encouraging the students to engage in project work, a practical approach that is driving a culture of change among these students.
Tanush is also actively spreading awareness about the foundation in the United States. Very recently he sold earrings made by the students to spread the awareness and collect some funds for the foundation.
