The Joys of Serving From the Heart

From this year, the students of Sparsh were introduced to a beautiful practice called ‘MUSTI DAAN’ on account of Children’s Day. The students collected a fistful of daal and rice from 1st November to 10th November and submitted it to the school on 11th November. The students of a charitable institution in Athgaon,Guwahati were invited to Sparsh for a hearty meal prepared by the grains donated by the students. The students of Sparsh were involved in the meal distribution, which was a fruitful learning experience. The second exhibition cum sale held on 14th November 2011 generated a fund of Rs. 16000 which was utilized to buy baby food for the infants of Mother Teresa House, Bharalumukh, Guwahati. Students of Sparsh also donated their old clothes at the school for the children of Mother Teresa House.
