Towards the Aid of Underprivileged Children

With the aim to spread compassion towards the needy, in the year 2010, the two branches of Sparsh organized a handicraft exhibition cum sale on the occasion of Children’s Day i.e. 14th Nov, 2010. It was marked as a fundraiser to support the education of underprivileged children. The handicrafts were made by the children, their parents and the teachers. The sale proceeds of Rs. 15,000 was donated to Assam Shishu Kalyan Sadan, Jalukbari, Guwahati.

The sole purpose of this event was to encourage and plant the seeds of compassion and empathy in the hearts of its young learners towards everyone, irrespective of various societal differences.
