Dr. Utpal Kataky joined Yasashi Foundation in July 2021 and has been supporting its community health initiatives since then. As a Child Specialist and Medical Advisor, he provides medical guidance on children’s health, nutrition, preventive care, and overall well-being.
He initiated the Foundation’s Health Camps in 2021, which are organised twice a year to provide health check-ups, medical consultations, and guidance to children and their families. These camps have become an important part of Yasashi Foundation’s work in promoting preventive healthcare and early intervention for children from vulnerable families.
In his advisory role, Dr. Kataky guides the Foundation on child healthcare initiatives and advises parents on important aspects such as immunisation, deworming, nutrition, and general health management. He also supports referral and follow-up for children who require further medical attention, helping ensure they receive the care and attention they need.
His continued guidance has been instrumental in strengthening the Foundation’s efforts to improve the health and well-being of the children it serves. Through his experience, compassion, and commitment, he has contributed meaningfully to creating a healthier and more supportive environment for children and families.
