FAMILY HEALTH AWARENESS CAMP AT YASASHI EDUCATION CENTRE
On 24 June 2026, Yasashi Foundation organised a Health Awareness Camp at Yasashi Education Centre in collaboration with Dr. Utpal Kataky and Headmistress Mrs. Lotika Basumatary. The programme was conducted for the mothers of children studying from Nursery to Class V, with the objective of promoting awareness about children's nutrition, vaccination, maternal health, routine healthcare, and various government health schemes.
A total of 23 mothers actively participated in the programme. Informative sessions were conducted on the importance of balanced nutrition for children, timely vaccination, maternal well-being, and access to essential healthcare services. The programme concluded with an interactive session led by Dr. Utpal Kataky, who addressed the health concerns of the mothers and provided valuable medical guidance and practical health advice.
The Health Awareness Camp successfully encouraged mothers to adopt healthier practices for themselves and their children while highlighting the importance of preventive healthcare. Through initiatives like these, Yasashi Foundation continues to strengthen community health awareness and empower families with knowledge for a healthier future.
