Arihana Medhi
Volunteer
Arihana Medhi first associated with Yasashi in 2024 through a Model United Nations (MUN) initiative and officially joined the organization as a volunteer in May 2026. Since then, she has contributed to a range of initiatives focused on the holistic development of children.
She began with a month-long teaching internship for students of Classes III and IV, conducting interactive, activity-based sessions that made learning engaging and meaningful, in line with the spirit of the National Education Policy (NEP).She also participated in field surveys to better understand the needs of selected students and contributed to Yasashi’s social media by creating posters, creatives, reels, and videos showcasing the organization’s work.
Additionally, she conceptualized and coordinated Lead & Learn: Summer Camp 2026, a seven-day summer camp held from 2nd to 8th July, centred on learning beyond the classroom through themes such as communication skills, theatre, art and craft, nature, and awareness.
She also contributed to Yasashi’s Diya Campaign 2026 by assisting in the preparation of handcrafted diyas, supporting the organization’s community engagement and fundraising efforts.
