Mehrin Ahmed
Volunteer
Mehrin Ahmed joined the Yasashi Foundation in 2024 as a volunteer, contributing to the Foundation's mission of providing quality education and holistic development opportunities for underprivileged children. During her volunteer engagement, she worked closely with students at the Yasashi Education Center, helping create an engaging, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for children from Nursery to Grade 4. She designed and conducted interactive lessons in moral values, general knowledge, storytelling, English grammar, geography, arts and crafts, and activity-based learning, encouraging curiosity, creativity, confidence, and active participation among young learners.
In 2025, she actively participated in the Diya Campaign , where she guided children in transforming simple clay diyas into vibrant works of art while introducing them to India's cultural traditions, teamwork, patience, and self-expression. The initiative fostered creativity, strengthened fine motor skills, promoted collaborative learning, and instilled a sense of pride in cultural heritage.
In 2026, she contributed to the Picnic Outreach and Activity Session, which provided children with opportunities to learn beyond the classroom through interactive games and group activities designed to enhance memory, coordination, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. Through these initiatives, her contributions reflected Yasashi Foundation's commitment to holistic education by integrating culture, creativity, values, and experiential learning into meaningful experiences that inspired children to learn, grow, and express themselves with confidence and enthusiasm.
